Franko Welcome Tour

The initiative began in November 2023 with an excursion to the main building of the University and the presentation of faculties for schoolchildren of Sumy Gymnasium No. 1. After the event, an interactive quiz took place, and the most active students received memorable gifts about the University from the Franko Store. On November 24, representatives of the marketing and communication department, career guidance specialists Julia Vaskiv and Anastasia Pavlenko visited Lyceum No. 17 of the Lviv City Council. During the meeting, future applicants were able to raise any issues related to admission to the HEI. Already on December 8, the girls visited Lyceum No. 91 of the Lviv City Council, where they also talked with eleventh graders about the upcoming admission, the choice of specialty and the advantages of Lviv University as a higher education institution. In 2024, the project continues its activities. In February, career guidance specialists have already visited the Lviv Academic Gymnasium at the Lviv Polytechnic National University, and also gladly met students of Lyceum No. 1 of the Gostomel Village Council of the Buchan District (Kyiv Region) within the walls of the Lviv University. The initiative is implemented through cooperation with the Museum of History of the University and the Institute of French Studies.
